Candidate Forum: New York-s 39th State Senate District

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, the League of Women Voters of the Mid-Hudson Region, Calvary Presbyterian Church, and the Newburgh Free Library will host a nonpartisan candidate forum on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. The forum will feature the two candidates seeking to represent New York’s 39th State Senate District: incumbent State Senator Rob Rolison and challenger Lisa Kaul. Come hear the candidates and have your questions answered. The forum is designed to promote informed civic participation and give community members an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates about the issues affecting the district.
