Come create a unique holiday gift using plant dyes and natural fibers! In this one-day workshop participants will learn about various techniques and applications that can be used with botanical dyes (from tie dye to block printing) as well as how to make a dye vat from locally harvested plants. We will see examples of these techniques and then experiment with one as we design and execute our own textile pieces --think bandanas, napkins or tea towels -- that can be taken home as an extra special holiday gift for a loved one.
