Book-to-Film Club Screening/Discussion: Midwinter Break

Literature and film enthusiasts rejoice. The Crandell Theatre, in partnership with the Chatham Bookstore and the Chatham Public Library, announces an exciting new program, the Crandell Book-to-Film Club, which culminates with a community discussion about books that have been adapted into films. The first club selection is Midwinter Break, the most recently adapted novel by Northern Irish writer Bernard MacLaverty. The book club will give community members a forum to finally settle the age-old question of which is better, the book or the film. FilmColumbia's Calliope Nicholas will lead the audience discussion following the screening.
