This ancient tradition has been practiced for centuries. Started by Saint Francis of Assisi of the Catholic tradition in the 12th century, he wrote a Canticle for the Creatures that has endured to the present, remaining a favorite amongst pet owners, and continued around the world today.
All are welcome to come to FPC, and bring along their companion and receive a blessing. You do not have to be a member of our church to do so, (or of any church!) we welcome all backgrounds and beliefs to bring their pet to this fun community event.
