Beyond the Frame: Textiles & Paintings by Carolyn Ray

Just as the 20th Century women of South Mountain Road were game changing innovators in their fields, Carolyn Ray has forged a successful career with name recognition and is known for excellence in her field of luxurious textiles. Carolyn Ray award-winning designs are in the permanent collections of the Cooper Hewitt Museum of the Smithsonian Institution, the Museum of the Rhode Island School of Design, and the Houston Museum of Fine Arts. The exhibitions are on view October 17 through November 23, Mondays – Saturdays, 11am-4pm. All exhibits are free to the public.
