Volunteers have been helping to maintain the historic garden designed by the famed Beatrix Farrand in 1912, and restored in 1990s by the first BFG volunteers. For several years, volunteer “Greeters” have welcomed the public on the first and third Sunday afternoons for informal, and informative, visits to the Garden. This year volunteers will also be assisting with the concerts, garden classes, and youth programs. Volunteers might work a few times a season or regularly, whatever fits into their schedules, and will enjoy the friendship of other volunteers and the joy of helping keep this beautiful public garden
