Beacon’s Hocus Pocus Halloween Parade & Festivities returns Saturday, October 24, with a full day of family-friendly fun. From 11 AM to 6 PM, enjoy Main Street trick-or-treating and the Black Cat Scavenger Hunt, with prizes for every 15 stamps collected. Happy Valley hosts Halloween festivities from noon to 5 PM. Parade lineup begins at 2:30 PM at Bank Square, with the parade stepping off at 3 PM and ending at Veterans Place, where Trunk or Treat with Beacon first responders will take place. The day concludes with a Kids & Family Costume Contest at Happy Valley at 4:45 PM.
