Be Miep Art Exhibit

Sherri Greenbach
Be Miep (Purple 1)
Sherri Greenbach’s featured series, Be Miep, occupies the intersection of color, narrative, and texture. Created with layers of paint, paper, and raw canvas, the series reflects contemporary conversations around immigration and calls viewers to take action. The title draws inspiration from Miep Gies, who helped hide Anne Frank and others during World War II. Greenbach’s work is also rooted in her personal experiences volunteering at a local food pantry. These pieces capture the emotional realities faced by immigrant communities and emphasize a collective responsibility to care for one another. Opening Reception on Sept 5 - 3 to 5 pm
