BAU Gallery December shows open 12/9, continue through January 7

Gallery 1 – Desire Lines: Phantom Geographies. Linda Lauro-Lazin’s body of work has grown out of a culture of digital technology. It is about loss. Each painting is a hybrid of an impossible landscape and a disappearing natural world. Gallery 2 – Forged in Fire exhibits four of the area's wood fire ceramic artists, Barbara Allen, Meg Beaudoin, Sarah Fox, and Eileen Sackman. Each uniquely utilizing the technique of wood firing, this exhibition highlights the versatility of surface that is obtained from this ancient technique.
