Professor Michael Douma will discuss his new book, The Slow Death of Slavery in Dutch New York: A Cultural, Economic and Demographic History, 1700-1827 (Cambridge Univ. Press, 2025) at the Hudson Area Library on October 5th. The event will also be available live on Zoom.
