Author Lindsay Hill in two events September 24th

On Wednesday the 24th between 6:00 and 7:30, nationally celebrated author Lindsay Hill is bringing two events. The first will be a free, 45-minute writing-workshop for 20 aspiring authors where attendees will be prompted on the spot to create and share new poems or short-short fictions. Afterward, at 6:45 the community room will open to the public and Hill will read from Tidal Lock as well as earlier award-winning work, and discuss how he invented a new form for prose fiction, one composed of carefully crafted short pieces that cumulatively acquire a precise narrative shape and an emotionally riveting structure.
