On Tuesday, October 20, local astrophotographer Michael Goldstein will be giving a fascinating talk titled The First-Ever Color DSO Images. He will present the classic color images of deep sky objects like galaxies and nebulae from large research telescopes with a comparison to today’s digital revolution in amateur astronomy. The talk will be given at the Coykendall auditorium at SUNY New Paltz at 8 PM. Michael Goldstein is Vice President of the Mid Hudson Astronomical Association, and a frequent contributor to the EAA forum on Cloudy Nights.
