Join Rockland Center for the Arts (RoCA) for an afternoon of artist driven workshops exploring the Arts of India. Activities will include: Indian Block Printing Workshop, 11:00 – 1:00pm, $25 in advance/$30 at the door. Textile Artist Hemangini Singh will take participants on a journey into the rich history of Indian wood hand block printing and share her knowledge and practice of this tradition. Participants can design and block-print their own small artwork, while learning to work with layers and colors to create their own designs. Indian Bollywood Dance Workshop, 3:00 – 4:00pm.
