Artist Talk with Kameelah Janan Rasheed

Join us for a talk by interdisciplinary artist-educator and learner Kameelah Janan Rasheed. Rasheed explores themes of language, memory, and the production of Black knowledge through her large-scale text-based installations, videos, sound works, and drawings that interrogate historical narratives and archives. Rasheed is one of the artists featured in the University Art Museum's exhibition History Lessons.
