Joan Linder will speak about her work in the exhibition Drawn Home on view at Omi (recently reviewed in the Times Union). The exhibition features large wall drawings and oversized accordion style books depicting domestic interiors of three generations of the artist's family. Also on view, Documents consists of 100 pieces of Linder's mail and press clippings meticulously recreated in pen and ink. Linder will also speak about her newest series of work which focuses on landscape drawings of Superfund sites around Buffalo, New York and drawn documents that pertain to those sites.
