ARTIST TALK: A conversation with Roohi Saleem

Abstract artist Roohi Saleem will discuss her work and her life as an artist, having called many different cities home. Her work is part of 'the conversation' at Pinkwater Gallery, installed alongside new work by the collective's nine women artists. The idea that any artist can find a place of constancy in the act of creating is the notion behind the concept of this show, titled ’Homebase’. We will chat with Roohi about her motivations in creating art and her peripatetic existence before settling in New York.
