William Rauschenberg’s casted art pieces are familiar images, that also evoke memories of when they were once utilized in everyday life. Using the lost art of sand casting techniques he collages three dimensional puzzle-like pieces of the salient parts of whatever has captured his attention, to form a four-sided imprint.
