ANDREW LYGHT | Touch Wood

Andrew Lyght, Linear 17148, 2021-22
Andrew Lyght | Touch Wood presents a unique collection of sculptural paintings. Lyght combines wood, paint, chalk, and rope to create abstract compositions that challenge traditional perceptions of dimensional space. Through his distinctive use of mathematics, materials, and form, Andrew Lyght invites viewers to engage deeply with the language of abstraction in a new and thought-provoking way. Curator Osi Audu notes, “Andrew Lyght uses geometric shapes to articulate space in affecting ways. His compositions speak to something both beautiful and precarious about the human condition, and our current state of existence in the 21st century.”
