"Americans" is a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street and the National Museum of the American Indian, explores how deeply intertwined Native Americans are in the culture of the United States. The images of Native Americans that we see daily offer a new way of understanding familiar events, including the story behind Thanksgiving, the legacy of Pocahontas, the Trail of Tears, and the Battle of Little Bighorn.
