Please join Pope Phoenix & CONVEY/ER/OR Gallery as we delve into exploring our observations of each other through a visual & literary lens. Phoenix has created images of people as seen from behind and asks us to participate in identifying who we think they are; are they friendly or threatening, educated or a drop-out, stylish or drab... The act of writing words we associate with the presented headshots tells us much more about ourselves than about the 'other'. Opening Feb 7th 4-6pm, Artist talk Feb 22nd 2-4pm.
