Hopewell resident Karen Hoferichter will present this free program on fossils and New York State’s geographical history. In this program, you will learn a brief geographical history of New York State: its land and its transformation. The program will also include hands-on experience with real fossils found in New York, a discussion of how fossils form, and finally you will create your own "fossil.” Karen is an active member of the Mid-Hudson Valley Gem and Mineral Society and does many outreach programs and seminars.
