Join the Borscht Belt Historical Marker Project for A HAPPENING IN HURLEYVILLE! The day will comprise of a historic marker dedication followed by a literary and arts expo to celebrate the Borscht Belt, a small town business stroll and a special performance by Sam Sadigursky, who wrote 3 albums called the SOLOMON DIARIES. A member of the Philip Glass Ensemble, Sam has released 11 albums and toured with David Byrne, Bruce Hornsby and Tom Jones. The SOLOMON DIARIES is inspired by the borscht belt - and is an evocative blend of blues, klezmer, jazz, and Americana.
