Many orchestras offer a potpourri of mixed delights for their season opener, and this year we decided to follow suit! We begin with John Adams’ high-octane fanfare Short Ride in a Fast Machine which is followed by the lilting mellow sweetness of Dvořák’s Humoresque. The Dvořák will feature our very own Concertmaster, Adrienne Harmon and Principal Cello, Naomi Lisowski as soloists.
