DESCRIPTION:Friends and students of history are cordially invited to attend the dedication of a new roadside history marker commemorating Athens' Brick Row neighborhood as a district on the National Register of Historic Places. A standalone facet of the Village of Athens\, Brick Row is a remarkably intact window into our community's rich industrial past. This new marker\, awarded by the William G. Pomeroy Foundation\, will be unveiled alongside a brief lecture on the history of Brick Row by Greene County Historian Jonathan Palmer.
