Rather than turning the deli into a gallery\, Of Paper & Plate lets the two coexist: the counter stays open\, lunch gets made\, customers come and go\, and art enters a space already in motion. Responding to the ideas and materials of “paper” and “plate\,” artists create work for a place never designed to hold art.
