Hudson's homegrown hoopla of wearable-art parade returns!
Drawing inspiration from global Carnival masquerades and Hudson’s evolving history as a city of makers, the Mad Hatters’ Parade brings together diverse communities in a shared spectacle of the nonsensical. Everyone is invited to join in this community-built extravaganza of mad hats and mythic headpieces, bricolage ball-gowns and invented instruments. The Parade steps off at 2 PM from the Hudson Area Library 51 N 5th St and shashays to the River, moving to the musical mischief of Brasskill and the tin-tin-ambulations of Djam Gong Gamelan.
