There is truly something for everyone at this year’s 28th Annual Sharon Summer Book Signing. The weekend begins with our signature Book Signing on the library lawn on Friday, July 31st from 4:45 to 7:30 pm. Your ticket includes access to 24 authors, the chance to buy their signed books, and a festive garden party. This year we have author dinners on both Friday and Saturday evenings. What could be better than dinner and literary conversation in a lovely Sharon home?
On Saturday, August 1st, return to the Library for our Second Annual Page to Plate event, where books and bites meet. Hear from six acclaimed food writers and cookbook authors. There will be talks, demos, and conversations. Signed cookbooks will be available for sale all day. Saturday also offers both a book signing and cocktail party honoring author E. Jean Carroll, author of Not My Type: One Woman vs. a President.
Families will enjoy the amazing Summer Reading Carnival under the tent on Sunday morning from 11:30 am to 2 pm. There will be games, face painting, balloon animals, magic, an ice cream truck, and prizes. This community event is free. Sunday also offers an opportunity for a delicious brunch with NYT food writer and cookbook author Melissa Clark.
Please join us for one or all of these unique experiences. Your participation supports our operating expenses and the vital role of books and libraries in our community!
