Leonard Bernstein’s compositions, perhaps the best known being his Broadway hit West Side Story, has inspired the likes of Benny Goodman, Billie Holiday, Dave Brubeck, Oscar Peterson, and countless other masters of jazz’s past. Young master swing musician and multi-instrumentalist Aaron Johnson leads a quartet in this premiere night of new arrangements in the spirit of composer, conductor and pianist Leonard Bernstein.
