Many special events are being planned for this year’s Festival, including interviews with best-selling memoirist Dani Shapiro and James Patterson collaborator Maxine Paetro, along with seminars on the publishing industry. There will also be a full children’s program including a musical adaptation of a Beatrix Potter book, and discussions with picture book authors. Along with scheduling a series of engaging talks with authors for all ages, the Festival also sponsors two writing contests.
